Jessica Michault
Jessica Michault is an award-winning journalist, public speaker, and consultant specializing in fashion, luxury, and beauty. With deep expertise in the Middle East’s luxury landscape, she has spearheaded the launch of several high-end publications across the GCC.. Michault's 60 Second Fashion Reviews have brought fashion show criticism to the social media sphere and her in depth one-on-one interviews with some of fashion's leading movers and shakers, via her Fashion Your Seatbelt podcast, has created another avenue for fashion lovers to connect with the industry.
Previously, Michault held the role of editor-in-chief of MADAME Arabia and Group Deputy Editor of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. She was also the editor-in-chief of the bi-annual fashion bible ODDA and the French magazine Antidote. Before that, she led Nowfashion.com as its editor-in-chief, in charge of all editorial content for the website. Prior to her role at Nowfashion, Michault was at The International Herald Tribune for 16 years, where she worked side by side with Suzy Menkes covering the fashion shows, writing editorial features for the paper’s style pages and completing special reports on the luxury and watch markets. Whilst at the paper, Michault was appointed online style editor. She has also regularly covered the fashion industry for France 24 television.
In addition to the International Herald Tribune, Michault's work has been published in the New York Times, Italian Vogue, Vogue Japan, L'Officiel Paris, Harper's Bazaar Brazil, GQ Germany, Mixte and Elite Traveller magazine.
Michault was born and raised in San Francisco and then spent over 20 years covering the luxury industry in Paris. Today, she covers the growing luxury space in the Middle East from her home in Dubai.
